FROZEN
TEARS (ITA) - NIGHTS OF VIOLENCE - The VERDICT
Current mood: jubilant
FROZEN
TEARS
Nights
of Violence – 2007 MY GRAVEYARD Prod – 10
Tracks – 50'
4th
album for these Italian Heavy Metal warriors ! After
a very good METAL HURRICANE I was really impatient to
listen to their new CD !
NIGHTS OF VIOLENCE gives us another very good Traditional
Heavy Metal hit !
You will still find the early Judas Priest influence
(less than in METAL HURRICAN) and for me it's a real
pleasure ! That kind of 80's Heavy Metal you can listen
every hour, every day, you won't be annoyed with!
Don't search for originality, but for solid and powerful
melodic Heavy Metal songs, you won't regret !
Really good production is offered, and believe me you
will be able to blow up your speakers! My favourite
songs are "Instability, Queen of Solitude, Don't
Waste your Time, The Fortress, Stories, Child's Prayer
(with this Maidenish musical part), and a really successful
cover from Accept, Run if you Can (From Breaker 1981).
Well in fact it's nearly a perfect album:))
OK my 3 best (from the best) are Don't Waste your Time,
The Fortress and The Prison !
I love the voice of Alessio, he really progressed since
the beginning !
I still don't understand why Italians are able to play
80's HM with this quality, and in France it seems so
impossible (except MYSTERY BLUE, LONEWOLF and few others)…
I can't write NIGHTS OF VIOLENCE is the album of the
year but surely one of the Best 80's Heavy Metal one!
Try to listen several times this CD I'm sure more it
will go more you will be addicted to !
You can be proud Italian Headbangers to have this kind
of band ! Hope you will support them On Stage!
TO HELP YOU TO GO TO THEIR MYSPACE YOU WILL FIND FROZEN
TEARS ON MY TOP FRIENDS (DURING 2 WEEKS). ITALIAN STEEL
IS SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE !
THE
VERDICT:
Considering it's the 4th Album for a Band on a Label:
RASKAL
The French Warrior gives : 18
RASKAL The Objective gives : 17
The
French Warrior speak with it's Heart and is more interested
by the essence of the songs / cover / attitudes…
The Objective takes all with a more "professional"
vision (production, way to play, to sing...) and tries
to be neutral.
