NIGHTS
OF VIOLENCE REVIEW: OVERHOOK (Finland)
http://overhook.loota.fi/overhook.html

After
three years of waiting, Frozen Tears finally delights
us with some new material... following the old material.
By that I mean, without doubt, that the band still musically
follows the 1980's and its ever-inspiring heavy metal.
...So if you're stuck to that decade there's extra pleasure
waiting for you in the record store.
The
nine regular tracks once again hold a lot of metal solid
delivery that'll blow the listeners' ears off. The musicianship,
of course, grows album after album, meaning that the
instruments are handled with even more love than before.
Besides the structure of compositions, a whole bunch
of solos are thrown with immense drive. In a couple
of spots the go is so strong that your dick grows at
least three inches if you can play the same tunes..
I dare you to try.
What
about that tenth track then? It is a cover of Run If
You Can by Accept if I'm not completely wrong. I'm not
going to compare this one with the original. Hear it
yourself and make up your mind if it is good, or a better
version of the piece. Purists don't bother sending me
hate mail.
The
80's heavy metal is not dead. Frozen Tears is waving
the flag and the people aware of things fill up the
ranks.
