OF VIOLENCE REVIEW: METAL TO INFINITY
http://metaltoinfinity.00freehost.com/FrozentearsCDreviewNightsofviolence.html

Frozen
Tears is a five piece Italian outfit, started up a in
1997. Besides a couple of demo's, the real stuff in
the form of albums such as "Mysterious Time"
and "Way Of Temptation" were relished respectively
in 2000 and 2002 though Megahard Records. The band change
of record company and signed a deal with Steelheart
for the recordings of "Metal Hurricane" in
2004. So far, so good...Frozen Tears had three outputs
underneath their belts and a fourth one saw daylight
this year 2007 by Italian My Graveyard Productions,
the masters of underground Metal!
Let
me say honestly, this is my first touch with the band
which means i never heard them before. Let's give "Nights
Of Violence" a swing to find out what's on it was
the main thing to do. Right from the first track 'Instability',
it became clear to me that the band had a strength-full
sound with roaring and screaming guitars, hard-hitting
drums, a bass player cut from the correct wood and last
but least a very good singer named Taiti Alessio that
reminds me of Lance King (Avian, Pyramaze, Defyance,...),
Matthew Bizilia (Icarus Witch), Rob Halford (Priest)
and Josh Kramer (Saint). All excellent vocalists who
transmit something special during their act.
The
style of Metal which brings Frozen Tears refers to the
80s, no doubt about that! The brotherhood understanding
between the musicians seems strong as steel, pure Heavy
Metal is swung in your direction with killer songs like:
'Heart Of Stone', 'Who Am I?!', 'Stories', 'The Prison'
and last one 'Run If You Can' (cover of legendary Accept).
Concerning the speed with which the songs have been
played...both mid as well as up-tempo's are surved in
a staggering, awesome manner. Concerning the style of
music "Nights Of Violence" keeps the eighties
tradition real high and be sure...i'm satisfied with
that.
Pleasant
release brought by a great band...this one's food for
all Classic Heavy Metal maniacs! Buy it - spin it and
reduce the volume to the maximum is the only way out.
